Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SOPHAIA. By using www.sophaia.com or learn.sophaia.com, or by purchasing a course, you accept them. We have written them in plain language on purpose.

Education, not advice

SOPHAIA provides general financial education: principles, frameworks, and behavioral systems for a broad audience. It is not investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or accounting advice, and nothing in any lesson, page, or document is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other asset. Using SOPHAIA does not create an advisor–client or fiduciary relationship of any kind.

Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Past performance never guarantees future results. Decisions about your money are yours alone, and for advice about your specific situation you should consult a licensed professional.

No promised results

We do not promise returns, outcomes, or that any pattern of behavior will change. We provide the tools, the structure, and the environment; the commitment to practice is yours, and results depend on you and on circumstances no course can control.

Your account

Courses are delivered through our school at learn.sophaia.com, which runs on Thinkific. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials to yourself, and use your account personally — accounts are not transferable and not for sharing.

Purchases and delivery

Prices are shown at checkout. A Stage I purchase is a one-time payment that gives you ongoing access to the Stage I course as described at the time of purchase.

Stage I is released progressively: some modules are live today and the remaining modules are published into the course as they are completed. Your purchase includes every Stage I module as it is released, at no additional cost. We work steadily, but we do not guarantee specific release dates. The founding price applies while Stage I is being completed; the price for new purchases rises when it is finished, and any price change affects only future purchases — never access you already own.

Refunds

If Stage I is not for you, write to us within 30 days of your purchase via the Contact page and we will refund it in full. We would rather return your money than keep a member who did not find what they came for.

Your license to the materials

All course content — lessons, videos, documents, and the Financial Blueprint workbook — belongs to SOPHAIA or its licensors. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own learning and your own finances. Your completed Financial Blueprint is yours to keep and use for as long as you like.

What the license does not allow: sharing your account, redistributing or reselling course materials, republishing content publicly, or using the materials to build a competing product.

Acceptable use

Use SOPHAIA lawfully and as a normal student would. Do not attempt to break, scrape, overload, or interfere with the sites or with other members’ use of them.

Third-party services

The school platform (Thinkific) and payment processors operate under their own terms and privacy policies in addition to ours.

Warranties and liability

The sites and courses are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires. To the fullest extent the law allows, SOPHAIA’s total liability for any claim connected to the sites or courses is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending access

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, including by sharing access or redistributing materials. We will always prefer a conversation first when one is possible.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use after a change means acceptance. Questions are welcome via the Contact page. The governing law for these terms will be stated here following legal review.
